Estado De La Luna made its racing debut just over a week ago and finished fifteenth. The two-year-old, trained by
Joseph Patrick O'Brien at Owning Hill in County Kilkenny, is still finding its feet on the track. O'Brien's yard has been in excellent form this season, sending out 160 winners, so there is clearly expertise behind Estado De La Luna as it begins its career. For now, the horse remains unproven, but early outings at this age tell you very little about what a horse might achieve down the line.
