Newmarket is one of the most demanding tracks in Britain, and winning there first time out—on what would have been his debut—set a high bar from the start. That he has now added a second win at Lingfield, a different track with its own characteristics, shows he is not a one-trick pony. The Gosden training operation at Newmarket, which has already sent out 140 winners this season alone, clearly knows what it is doing with this horse. Enoch looks like he is exactly where he needs to be, and with two wins from two races, he has earned the right to be watched closely for what comes next.
