Endless Whisper

The recent run of form is a mixed picture. Back-to-back second-place finishes in the middle of the sequence suggested something was building, but the results either side of those efforts — including a seventh and an eleventh — make it hard to draw any firm conclusions. It raced just yesterday, so whatever happened is still very fresh, and the yard will be assessing where to go next.

Endless Whisper is trained by the father-and-son team of Michael and David Easterby at their Sheriff Hutton base in North Yorkshire. It is a busy and productive yard — 55 winners sent out already this season — which means they know how to place horses to give them the best chance. The fact that Endless Whisper is still winless despite that experience behind it suggests this is simply a horse that competes at a modest level and finds one or two better than it on most days. All six of its attempts at Class 5 level, the bread-and-butter tier of British racing, have ended without a win. A yard firing at that rate of winners will not be giving up on it, but they will need to find the right opportunity if that first win is ever going to come.
