Emtinan is a three-year-old still learning the ropes. The horse has now run three times without troubling the judge — no wins or places yet — and remains winless after a recent outing just over a week ago. The two most recent races both ended in fifth-place finishes, sandwiched around another fifth in the run before that, suggesting the horse is meeting some stiff competition at present.
Stuart Williams, the trainer based in Newmarket, has a busy and successful yard this season, with 67 winners already on the board, so there is experience and firepower behind this one. Whether Emtinan will break through remains to be seen, but the horse is still racing regularly and actively building race experience.
