The long gaps in his recent form suggest Dowling is being patient, spacing out his runs rather than racing him into the ground. With time still on his side at three years old, there remains a chance that a change of pace or drop in class could unlock something, but as things stand, Emily's Boy has yet to show the consistency needed to trouble the winners' enclosure.
