Elzaam Express

Trained by Gavin Cromwell at Navan in County Meath, Elzaam Express is part of a yard in excellent form this season — Cromwell's team has already sent out 96 winners. That level of success suggests the trainer knows what he's doing, though this particular horse hasn't clicked yet. At three years old, there's still time for improvement, and horses often need several races before they find their feet. For now, though, Elzaam Express remains a work in progress, and the focus will be on whether the horse can convert its experience into that elusive first win.
