That might sound unspectacular, but winning 4 from 39 at that level — roughly 1 in every 10 — actually represents her best results anywhere, which suggests she has found her level and performs well when the conditions suit. John Wainwright's yard, based in Norton, North Yorkshire, has sent out four winners this season, and Elettaria accounts for a meaningful share of the stable's recent successes.

That is modest, but in racing terms, a jockey returning to the same horse ten times suggests a working relationship built on familiarity rather than fireworks.
