El Morjan

El Morjan is a 2-year-old who has run just once so far, finishing fourth in that single outing a day ago. The horse is trained by John and Thady Gosden at their Newmarket yard, one of the most successful operations in British racing — they have already sent out 140 winners this season alone. With only one race under his belt, El Morjan is very much at the beginning of his career, and a single fourth-place finish tells us almost nothing about his potential. Plenty of horses need time to find their feet, and he may well improve considerably as he gains experience and matures.
