Echoes Of Jane

A single third-place finish doesn't tell you a great deal, but it does tell you one important thing: she's competitive. Plenty of horses finish further back on debut, so hitting the frame first time out is a decent enough sign that there's something to work with. The win column is still blank, but it's far too early to read anything into that.

She's trained by Eugene M O'Sullivan, operating out of Lombardstown in County Cork. It's a yard that has produced four winners already this season, which suggests the team knows what it's doing when it comes to getting horses ready to run. With just one race to her name, Echoes Of Jane is still very much a work in progress — but she's in capable hands, and the next run will tell us considerably more.
