Dreambird Dolly

She clearly has days when she runs well enough to finish in the placings, but she struggles to turn those efforts into victories. Dreambird Dolly's record with her regular jockey, William Carson, is blank: seven rides together have produced no wins. Her trainer, John Gallagher at Chastleton in Oxfordshire, is having a respectable season by lower-level standards with eight winners sent out, but Dreambird Dolly has not been one of them on the track—at least not under his care since that June victory. For a horse in this position, consistency matters more than brilliance, and the long gap since her last win suggests she may be facing an uphill battle to add another.
