Don't Tell Paddy made his racing debut just a day ago, finishing sixth in his first race. The 4-year-old is trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy at Athea in County Limerick, a yard that has already sent out 15 winners this season. McCarthy clearly knows how to get horses ready for the track, which suggests Don't Tell Paddy may have the foundation in place to improve from this first outing.
