Winning at that level is a genuine achievement, and it stands as the highlight of a career that stretches back to a first win at Hexham in June 2022. Hexham, tucked away in Northumberland, has become something of a happy hunting ground: Dinons has won 2 of 6 races there, a 33% win rate that tells you this is a track that suits. When a horse wins a third of its races somewhere specific, that's not coincidence — there's something about the track, the terrain, or the trip that clicks.

The conditions matter too. On normal ground, Dinons really comes alive: 3 wins from 10 races, meaning it wins 30% of the time — nearly 1 in every 3 starts when the ground is right. That's a sharp number for any horse, let alone one competing regularly at Class 4 level, where the fields are competitive and winning consistently is harder than it sounds.
