Diamonds And Dames

What stands out is the consistency of recent form. Looking at the last four races, Diamonds And Dames has won, won again, finished fifth, and then fourth — so two wins sandwiched between a couple of middling efforts. That's not perfect, but for a horse this young, it shows enough class to keep climbing the ranks. Mrs J. Harrington, based at Moone in Co Kildare, has already sent out 53 winners this season, so the horse is in a yard that knows how to train winners. Diamonds And Dames will likely step up in class from here, but the foundation is solid: two wins from four races at just two years old is exactly the kind of record that suggests there is better to come.
