Destination Unkown

What makes this particularly difficult to spin is that Destination Unknown isn't being asked to do anything spectacular. Class 5 is the bottom rung of British racing — the level where horses go to find races they can be competitive in. Three attempts at that level and still no wins, no places. That tells you the horse is struggling to hold its own even in the most accessible company available.

To be fair, Destination Unknown is still active and still being sent out to race, which means the team clearly believes there is something to work with. But until the form figures start showing some improvement — a place, a closer finish, anything to suggest the pieces are coming together — it is hard to make a case that the breakthrough is just around the corner.
