With a win rate of roughly one victory in every six races, Deedaydiva is still learning its trade. The three placed finishes outside of the Sandown victory indicate it can run respectably, but consistency remains elusive at this stage. King's yard is one of the stronger operations in British racing — they have sent out 57 winners already this season — so the horse has the right support and expertise around it. At just three years old, there is time for Deedaydiva to develop and string together better runs. For now, it remains an unfinished prospect, recent form suggesting it needs to find its feet if it is to build on that Sandown breakthrough.
