That sounds modest until you realise just how much of this horse's career has been shaped by one track. Two of its four career wins have come there, which tells you the team knows exactly where to aim it. The flipside, of course, is that 16 visits without a win is a lot of near-misses at a supposed happy hunting ground.

That partnership is clearly worth watching. The horse raced just yesterday, so it is very much in active training and in the mix. With recent form reading 7-2-4-2-3, it has not been disgracing itself — two second-place finishes in the last six runs suggest the winning feeling is not far away. Whether it actually gets there is, of course, another matter entirely.
