Whether Dairy Force can finally turn one of those placed efforts into a win is the question worth watching. It raced just one day ago, so it is very much in the thick of its season right now. The Kilbeggan win proved it can get the job done. The recent form suggests it is in decent enough shape to do it again — it just needs things to fall right rather than slightly wrong. For a horse with one win and six places from sixteen races, the story is less about failure and more about a horse that keeps showing up and keeps being competitive. That counts for something.
