Cumnock

Cumnock is a 4-year-old horse in training with Robbie Llewellyn at Wroughton in Wiltshire. The horse has run once so far, finishing second without getting its head in front, and remains actively campaigned by a yard that has already sent 14 winners out this season. Having raced just a day ago, Cumnock is clearly being kept busy and is likely to run again soon. With only a single race on the record, there is little form to speak of yet, but the fact that the horse has already shown it can get close to winning — finishing in the placings on debut — suggests the trainer sees enough to keep racing it. Whether Cumnock can translate that near-miss into a win remains to be seen, but it is early days.
