His pedigree offers some encouragement: he is by Havana Grey out of a Dabirsim mare, which suggests he has racing in his bloodline from both sides. Whether that translates to the track, though, is the £1,000 question nobody can answer yet. On debut day, all a two-year-old has to prove is that he belongs in a race at all.
