It suggests she has a genuine preference, and that the yard have not always been pitching her at the right trip.

She is trained by John and Thady Gosden at Newmarket, one of the most powerful yards in the country. The Gosdens have sent out 140 winners already this season, so the operation clearly knows how to place a horse to its best advantage. Robert Havlin, who rides her most often, has partnered her in 6 of her 10 races and was in the saddle for that Wolverhampton win — they have struck up a reasonable understanding, winning 1 in every 6 rides together (17%).

Her recent form — finishing fifth three times and then third, second, second in the six runs before that — is the picture of a horse hovering just outside the frame. She raced just yesterday, which makes her one of the more active horses at her level right now. Whether the Gosden yard can find her a race at the right distance to get her back into the winner's enclosure is the question worth watching.
