Tracks have their own personalities: Southwell's all-weather surface rewards horses who handle the surface well and settle into a rhythm, and Create has clearly worked that out over time. Its first win there came in February 2023, and its most recent was in October 2025, meaning it has returned to win across multiple seasons at the same venue. That kind of sustained affinity with a track is not common and is exactly the sort of thing worth knowing.

The current form is less convincing. Finishing positions of 8, 10, 12, 12, 4, and 7 across the last six races — listed from oldest to most recent — suggest a horse that has largely been finding its level without troubling the judge. The fourth-place finish in that sequence is a flicker of encouragement, but the run before it was a return to mid-field obscurity. Most of Create's wins have come at Class 6 level, the most accessible tier of racing, where the competition is gentler. That is simply where this horse operates, and there is no shame in that.

The partnership has not ignited anything dramatic, but Swift knows the horse well enough. The question now is whether Create can find Southwell conditions that suit and rediscover what it showed last October.
