Win rate and top-3 rate will show once this horse has raced.
Lacey's yard is in good form this season, with 37 winners already sent out, so the decision to run Crazy Alice now rather than earlier suggests the trainer believes the horse is ready. The pedigree offers something solid: Crazy Alice is by Affinisea out of a Beat Hollow mare, a cross that carries racing credentials through both sides of the family. Whether that translates to a quick learner or a late bloomer on the racecourse remains to be seen. That is the real story of any debut — not what the form sheets say, because there is nothing yet to read, but what happens the moment the gates open.
