Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Colin Motherway's Youghal yard has sent out three winners this season, so there is form in the stable, though Courtmac Gesture has not yet been the one to deliver. At this age and stage of its career, with a mixed record of placings but no breakthrough win, the horse remains in that difficult middle ground: too good to give up on entirely, but not quite performing at the level needed to inspire confidence. The recent third-place finish suggests it is still competitive, at least, and there remains time for a breakthrough if the horse can find the right race and the form to capitalize on it.
