Coolshine

The numbers are as straightforward as they come: zero wins and zero places from three races, which means it has not once troubled the judge or crept into the frame. What is worth noting, though, is that the form has been fairly consistent in its own unfortunate way — hovering around the ninth-to-eleventh range each time rather than showing wild swings up or down the field. That could suggest a horse finding its feet rather than one completely out of its depth, though it is too early to read too much into so small a sample.

Having raced as recently as yesterday, Coolshine is clearly in an active campaign, and the yard will be hoping experience brings improvement. Three races is a short audition for any young horse, and plenty have looked ordinary at this stage before finding their stride. For now, the evidence on the board is slim — but the story is still very much being written.
