Coded Welder

Coded Welder is a seven-year-old that has found the winner's circle elusive across 13 career races, notching up six places but no wins. The horse came closest recently, finishing second just a day ago, and has shown enough consistency in its last six outings — two fourth-place finishes, a third, and that runner-up effort — to suggest it is capable at this level, even if victory has not come its way. At a yard sending out winners regularly this season, the horse remains actively raced and competitive in mid-field contests, the type of honest performer that features in the placings more often than not but has yet to break through the tape first.
