Claudette
Claudette announced herself as a racehorse this week with a debut victory at Great Yarmouth, marking an impressive start for a two-year-old trained by John and Thady Gosden at their powerful Newmarket yard. In just two career races, the horse has won once and finished in the places once — a 50% win rate that any young horse would be proud of. The Gosdens' operation is running at full steam this season with 140 winners already saddled, so getting a horse into their string is a sign of genuine talent.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
What makes Claudette's win particularly striking is how fresh it is. That victory came just this week, and the horse is back in action already, racing again within days. That kind of quick turnaround suggests the horse came out of the Yarmouth race in excellent order, with the yard confident enough to get it back on the track without hesitation. For a young horse still finding its feet, that confidence from the Gosdens speaks volumes. Some horses need months to recover from early races; Claudette looks like it wants to race again immediately. That's the mark of a horse with genuine appetite and physical resilience.
