Clarice Starling

Clarice Starling made her debut just over a week ago and finished sixth. The 2-year-old, trained by Richard Spencer at Newmarket, has one race under her belt so far — a solid starting point for a young horse still finding her feet on the track. Spencer's yard has been in good form this season, with 30 winners already to their name, so there is clearly plenty of experience in the stable to help develop her as a racehorse. Plenty of horses need a few races to settle and show what they can do.
