Compare that to the overall record and the difference is meaningful. Give this horse a bit of distance to gallop into, and the odds of seeing something good improve noticeably.

That second career win came at Dundalk in November 2025, about four months ago now, and it followed the first win at Down Royal back in August. Two different tracks, two wins — suggesting this is not a horse that relies on one particular venue to produce its best. The recent run of form does give mild pause: a sixth, a third, and an eighth in the three races before that Dundalk win, and the runs since have been blanks. The third place hints at ability still surfacing, but those other results suggest Cinammon Coco is in a competitive spell right now.

David Pipe trains from Nicholashayne in Somerset, and his yard has been in decent nick this season — 35 winners sent out is a solid return that suggests a yard with horses fit and ready to run. Pipe is an experienced handler with a long history of placing horses thoughtfully, so there is every reason to think Cinammon Coco is being targeted at the right opportunities. Having raced just one day ago, this is very much a horse in active campaign — and with the preferred longer trips still on the table, another day in the winner's enclosure is not out of the question.
