What will matter in the weeks ahead is whether the team starts to see something at home that the track hasn't yet reflected — a change in conditions, a drop in class, or simply a race that suits better. H Rogers, based at Ardee in Co. Louth, has sent out six winners already this season, so there is clearly ability in the yard to get horses winning. The question is whether Chloe's Boy can be added to that tally.

Having raced just yesterday, this is a horse very much in the thick of its campaign right now. The next run will be worth watching closely — not necessarily for a win, but to see whether the finishing position starts creeping forward rather than sliding back.
