Chase The Moon

Trained by P J Rothwell out of Tinahely in County Wicklow, Chase The Moon sits in capable hands. Rothwell's yard has sent out 35 winners already this season, which is a serious tally and speaks to an operation that knows how to get horses ready to win. Since that Gowran Park success five months ago, Chase The Moon has finished fourth and sixth in its two subsequent races — not disgracing itself, but not threatening to add to that tally either. The horse raced just yesterday, so it is clearly being kept busy and the team have not lost faith in its ability to find the winner's enclosure again.

With only four races on the clock, there is still a great deal to learn about what Chase The Moon is capable of. The Gowran win is a foundation to build on, and with a yard firing on all cylinders behind it, another good day may not be far away.
