Cavo Tagoo
There are horses that take time to find their feet, and then there are horses like Cavo Tagoo, who walked into their very first race and won it. The 4-year-old made its debut at Uttoxeter just this week, on 7th July 2026, and came home in front — a perfect record of one race, one win.Based on TrackLab's analysis

What makes that worth paying attention to is who is behind it. Cavo Tagoo is trained by Olly Murphy, whose yard at Wilmcote in Warwickshire has been in exceptional form this season — 146 winners and counting. That is not a lucky run; that is a training operation firing on all cylinders, and a debut winner from that stable carries genuine weight. When a yard is producing winners at that rate, it tends to mean the horses arriving on a racecourse are ready to perform.
One race tells you only so much, of course. But a clean sheet, a trainer in the form of his life, and a win just days ago makes Cavo Tagoo a horse worth watching closely as the season develops.
