The one bright spot came at Wolverhampton on 13 December 2025, a first career win that offered real encouragement. Since then, though, results have been patchy. Looking at the last six runs, there have been three placings, which means Burdett Estate can get into the frame, but the wins are not following. Last time out, just one day ago, the horse was beaten into 12th place, suggesting form has tailed away from that December high.

Over the shorter stretches — between five furlongs and six and a half furlongs — Burdett Estate has a much stronger record: one win from four races at that range, a 25% win rate. This tells you that when conditions and distance suit, the horse is capable of performing well above its overall average. Trainer Brian Toomey, based at Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire, has been quietly productive this season with ten winners from the yard, so there is experience in the stable to get the best out of a developing young horse. For Burdett Estate to fulfil its potential, finding races at the right distance and tracking form carefully will be key.
