Brenda Lady
Four races, four finishes outside the top three, and a best result of fourth place — Brenda Lady has yet to give her supporters much to cheer about. The six-year-old has run four times without a win or a place to her name, and her recent form of 10th, 6th, 5th, and 4th tells a story of gradual improvement that hasn't quite translated into a result yet.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
That creeping progression is at least something to work with. She's been getting closer with each run, and having raced just one day ago she is clearly an active and busy campaigner right now. Whether that upward curve continues is the question her trainer David Rees will be hoping to answer soon.
Rees operates out of Clarbeston in Pembrokeshire and has sent out five winners this season, so the yard clearly knows how to get a horse ready to win. The hope for Brenda Lady's fans — if there are any left with patience intact — is that she's simply a slow learner who is finally figuring things out.
