That single win came at Down Royal back in August 2022, nearly four years ago now. Since then, Boujee has gone six races without adding to the tally, and the recent form makes for tough reading: a mix of mid-field finishes and one complete absence from the placings. The dashes in the form — those gaps where no finishing position is recorded — suggest races that weren't completed, which adds another layer of frustration to what has been a stop-start chapter in this horse's career.

Boujee is trained by M A Molloy out of Thurles in County Tipperary, a yard that has sent out 4 winners already this season, so the operation is clearly capable of getting horses to the front. The fact that Boujee raced just one day ago shows it is still very much in active training and being given opportunities. Whether a return to something like that Down Royal form is on the cards remains to be seen — but at nine, the window for adding to that lone win is getting a little shorter with every run.
