Win rate and top-3 rate will show once this horse has raced.
Donald McCain's yard at Cholmondeley in Cheshire has been prolific this season, sending out 55 winners already, which suggests a stable in good form and capable of preparing a horse properly for its debut. That kind of record tends to mean McCain knows what he is doing — when a yard that productive puts a horse on the track, it usually has a plan. For a debut runner, that counts for something. Whether Bombus Pascuorum will have the ability to reward that preparation remains to be seen, but at least it will be fit, sharp, and ready to race. Everything else, for now, is a mystery.
