Trained by Tom Weston out of a small yard in Hindlip, Worcestershire, the team has sent out 2 winners this season, which for a modest-sized operation shows there is at least some ability to get horses ready to win. A fifth-place finish from a single race tells you almost nothing about a horse's ceiling — it's barely an introduction. What matters now is how Bold Acclaim comes out of that run and what the yard — sorry, what the yard — decide to do next.
There simply isn't enough racing history here to draw firm conclusions. One race, no win, no place. The only honest thing to say is: watch this space.
