Blue Orquidea

Trained by Denis Gerard Hogan at Cloughjordan in County Tipperary, Blue Orquidea is part of a yard that has been in excellent form this season, sending out 54 winners already. That kind of record suggests the training is sound, and it raises the question of whether Blue Orquidea simply hasn't found the right opportunity yet, or whether this horse will need time and patience to develop into a competitive runner. At three years old, there is still room for improvement, but the lack of any form so far—no wins, no places from five attempts—means the pressure is building to show some meaningful progress soon.
