That sole win came at Class 5 level, the entry-level tier of British racing, and almost all of Blended Stealth's career has been spent there: 40 of its 46 races at that grade, with the same 2% win rate throughout. That consistency of level is actually quite telling — it means the yard has had a clear and realistic picture of what this horse is capable of, and have placed it accordingly. Lizzie Quinlan trains out of Bolton Mill in Cumbria, a yard that has sent out four winners this season, and Blended Stealth accounts for one of them.

Peter Kavanagh has been the jockey most associated with this horse, riding it in 15 of its 46 races and steering it to that one famous win — a win rate of 7% together, which is better than the horse's overall career average and suggests some genuine partnership there. That Hexham win was the payoff for a long working relationship between horse and rider.

What makes Blended Stealth genuinely interesting right now is that it raced just one day ago and is very much still active at nine years old. Its recent form shows a couple of fourth and fifth-place finishes, with a couple of blank runs in between, and it hasn't won in its last six races. But then again, it had never won at all before May 2025. For a horse of this age and this record, the question isn't whether it can dominate — it's whether lightning can strike twice.
