Blake's Lass

Blake's Lass is a 2-year-old still finding her feet on the racecourse. She has run three times without winning, though she did finish in the top 3 once. Her most recent race was just yesterday, where she finished sixth; before that she came fifth, and the time before that she finished second. With a yard sending out winners regularly—Ivan Furtado's Wiseton operation has trained 43 winners this season—there is at least a supportive environment for a young horse still learning the game. At this stage of her career, with only three races under her belt, Blake's Lass has plenty of time to develop and find the right conditions to break through.
