Big Tribe made a winning debut at Newcastle on 2 October 2026, and the two-year-old has impressed in its sole race so far with a perfect record of one win from one outing. The horse is still in active racing and has been trained by
Michael Appleby, based at Oakham in Rutland, a yard that has sent out 71 winners already this season. For a young horse just stepping into racing, a debut victory is the kind of start every owner dreams of, and Big Tribe's perfect beginning suggests the talent spotted in the yard's care may well be worth watching as it progresses through the racing ranks.
