She races at Class 4 level, which sits in the middle of the British racing ladder — not the very bottom, but not the glamour end either. Going 0 from 3 at that level suggests she is finding it hard to be competitive even against this kind of company. To put that in perspective, a horse winning none of seven career races is not unusual for a slower developer, but the complete absence of any place finishes does indicate she has some way to go before she troubles the judge.

What works in her favour is that she is still active — she raced just yesterday — and she is trained by N W Alexander, whose yard in Leslie, Fife has sent out 18 winners already this season. That is a stable in decent nick, which means Bennys Jenny is presumably getting every opportunity to find her feet. Whether she can finally crack that first win remains to be seen, but the team clearly believes there is still a race to be won with her somewhere down the line.
