Benedetti

At this stage, there is very little to say. Benedetti is a young horse with a single race under her belt, and a fourth-place finish on debut tells us nothing definitive about her prospects. Many of the best horses stumble first time out; others improve dramatically once they gain experience and understand what racing is about. The fact that Bethell has chosen to run him again so quickly — he raced just a day ago — suggests the trainer is keen to build on that first outing rather than let it settle as a one-off. That approach, combined with the strength of the yard itself, hints at some optimism about what Benedetti might become. For now, though, it is simply a horse in the early stages of finding her feet on the track.
