What makes Beatific worth keeping an eye on is the yard it comes from. Trainer Donnacha O'Brien operates out of Ballyroe in County Tipperary, and his team has sent out 33 winners already this season — a serious tally that tells you these horses are well-prepared and competitive. O'Brien is one of the sharper young training minds in Irish racing, and horses from this stable tend to improve as they gain experience. A three-year-old with only three races under its belt is still very much a work in progress.

Zero wins from three races is nothing to panic about at this stage. Many horses take time to find their level, and a place already on the board suggests Beatific has been competitive, just not quite able to get its nose in front yet. With a trainer firing on all cylinders behind it, the first win may not be far away.
