Barrow Side Boy is a four-year-old who has yet to find the winner's circle. In two career races, the horse has finished out of the placings both times, with a recent effort that saw him finish 14th before an eighth-place finish in the race before that. Trained by
P A Fahy at Leighlinbridge in County Carlow, Barrow Side Boy was last in action just a day ago. Fahy's yard has been productive this season, sending out nine winners so far, which suggests the trainer has the tools to get horses winning — though this particular one remains a work in progress. At four years old, Barrow Side Boy still has time to turn his form around, but he will need to show meaningful improvement from those recent efforts to prove he belongs in the winner's enclosure.
