Bannow Blaze

The first career win came at Wexford on 27 October 2025, and it is worth noting that Wexford is essentially Bannow Blaze's home track — trainer Jonathan Fogarty is based at Cleariestown in Co. Wexford, just down the road. There is often something to the idea of a horse knowing its local track, feeling comfortable in familiar surroundings, and that win felt like a horse finally delivering on promise that had been building through those placed efforts. Eight months have passed since that day, and the horse raced just yesterday, so whatever comes next is very much a live story.

Fogarty's yard has sent out one winner this season, which tells you this is a small, tight operation rather than a large commercial stable. That actually makes the recent run of form more interesting, not less — small yards do not have the luxury of deep benches or constant runners, so when a horse starts producing consistently, it tends to mean the team has genuinely found something.
