Baldilou

Baldilou is a five-year-old currently trained by Mark Michael McNiff at Strandhill in County Sligo. The horse has raced once and finished fourth, which means it is still seeking its first competitive success. McNiff's yard has been sending winners to the track this season, so there is clearly capability in the stable to produce results, though Baldilou has not yet been part of that picture. With a race just a day ago, the horse remains active and could be back out soon. For now, it is a case of watching and waiting to see whether a first finish in the top three — or ideally a maiden victory — might come next time out.
