The one bright spot came in that third-place finish, which at least shows there's some ability in there. But with a sequence that reads 8th, 3rd, 9th, 7th when you go back through the record, the consistency simply hasn't been there. To put it plainly: zero wins from four races means this horse has yet to get its nose in front, and those mid-to-rear finishes suggest it still has plenty to prove.
Having raced just one day ago, Baileys Big Image is clearly an active runner, and with only four races under its belt there's still time to turn things around. Some horses take a while to figure out what's being asked of them. Whether that improvement is coming, though, remains to be seen.
