The career began with a win at Southwell in July 2025, and things have only escalated from there. A Class 2 win at Newmarket followed in August 2025, which is one of the better races in Britain, and then — just this week — another win at Newmarket. Three races at that track, two wins. At a course famous for producing hard, competitive fields, that record is striking.

The recent form line tells its own story: 1-2-4-10-1-1. Reading that right to left — two wins, then a tenth place which suggests either a bad day or a step up in class that didn't quite work, then a fourth, a second, and a win. The overall trend is sharply upward. Stuart Williams has had a productive season by any measure, sending out 69 winners this year, and Azleet looks like one of the yard's more reliable weapons.

The one honest caveat is what happens at the very top level. In three attempts at Class 1 — the elite tier of British racing — Azleet has yet to win, going 0 from 3. That is a real question mark. The step from competitive Class 2 races to the best company in the country is a significant one, and plenty of horses that look brilliant at their own level run into a wall there. Whether Azleet can clear that barrier remains to be seen.
