Audere

The pattern in those last six runs tells the story: 6th, 4th, 6th, 8th, 6th, 6th. That 4th place was the closest Audere has come to breaking through, but it remains tantalisingly out of reach. The horse is trained by Dean Ivory at Radlett in Hertfordshire, a yard that has managed seven winners so far this season. When Audere has stepped up to compete in the higher-class races, it has struggled even more — three attempts at that level produced nothing but losses. For now, Audere is running at the lower end of the card, where the races are more straightforward, yet the breakthrough still hasn't come. At this stage, with eight races completed and no sign of a winner, patience will be needed from everyone involved.
