Atlantic Rose is a 2-year-old still finding their feet on the track. The horse has run once so far, finishing well back in the field, and only very recently — just a day ago — so the racing experience is still fresh and minimal. With a trainer like
W McCreery, who runs a yard at Rathbride in County Kildare that has already sent out 19 winners this season, there is clearly some competence in the operation. Early races for young horses are often about learning the ropes rather than winning, so a single run with no result yet tells you almost nothing about what Atlantic Rose might become. Time and more racing will tell whether this horse has the talent to develop into something useful, but right now it is simply too early to draw any real conclusions.
